Professional Accomplishments, honors, awards and patents:

Prof Shuit-Tong Lee was awarded the Humboldt Senior Research Award (Germany) in 2001 and a Croucher Senior Research Fellowship from the Croucher Foundation (HK) in 2002 for the studies of “Nucleation and growth of diamond and new carbon based materials” and “Oxide-assisted growth and applications of semiconducting nanowires”, respectively. He also won the National Natural Science Award of PRC (second class) in 2002, 2005, and 2013 for the above two research achievements and “Organic Optical Functional Materials for High Efficiency Photoelectric Conversion”, respectively. He was awarded the 2008 Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Ho-Leung-Ho-Lee Foundation.

Major Research Interests:

Nanomaterial and nanotechnology, and has made outstanding contributions to the fields of functional nanomaterials and devices, organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display technology, and diamond and super-hard thin film technology.

澳科大材料科学与工程研究院的启动经费,经费从2021.1-2023.12, 已预留预算至少为2位符合青年学者计划的博士后每人每年提供不低于18万MOP的资助,资助期为2年。
