Major Research Interests:

1. Establishing human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)-based cell models to elucidate pathogenic mechanisms in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis 

2. Investigating beneficial effects of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and finding effective treatments for cerebral small vessel disease and vascular dementia

3. Studying glymphatic function in brain disorders
